This lemon turmeric chicken recipe is oven-baked, healthy, and deeply flavorful. It’s an easy, wholesome dinner perfect for any night of the week.


Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs or breasts
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • Ground turmeric
  • Olive oil
  • Minced garlic
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • (Optional) Grated ginger
  • (Optional) Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, turmeric, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Add chicken and coat thoroughly in marinade.
  • Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes (overnight is best).
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place marinated chicken on a baking sheet or dish.
  • Bake 25–40 minutes depending on cut, until golden and fully cooked.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with parsley and extra lemon if desired.
